About us


Light Club is a band whose music is known in countries as far wide as China to LA and parts in between. The band has been featured in the international press lines, Music Industry News (Mi2N) and Top 40.com ( http://top40-charts.com/news/Rock/That-Other-Chinese-Democracy-Song-Released-To-Radio/44115.html). The band is known for playing major Chinese Democracy rallies in cities such as Boston, New York City, Washington DC at the Lincoln Memorial and The White House and at the Chinese Embassy. Additionally, the band's song "Freedom First, Olympics 2nd" was featured on the internationally known organization, Human Right Torch's compilation music CD encouraging improved Human Rights in China. Light Club's musicians have a history of being scouted by major labels such Atlantic, MCA but are now working in the new "indie" world. The band will be releasing it's controversial first CD featuring it's single, "Chinese Democracy defiled" in early 2009. The single is available for listening now on it's website and Mp3's of individual songs may be available prior to the release as downloads
