About us


licker were formed from the ashes of canadian punk rockers runaway teen and uk indie no-hopers single child syndrome. Firm advocates of the DIY ethic, the band draw their influences from a diverse range of sources, including good manners, cliches, the past, aversion therapy, the need to be different, colours, difficulty in hearing, the present, beeping noises, numbers, a sense of belonging, irony, and the future. Based in the trendy and bohemian surrounds that is the West End of Glasgow, Scotland, the band quickly transcended borders and built up a truly international following... Can you resist the lure of licker?
