About us
Kings Die Kings specialise in superior, direct, emotionally charged anthems. Fusing a dark intensity with a haunting melodic chime, they deliver a truly unique and focussed sound. In 2006 the band began as a live act and immediately made a T-Break Showcase Final at Glasgow’s King Tuts Wah Wah Hut.
In 2007, and with a replacement drummer in tow, Kings Die Kings returned with a glaringly improved set-list. Following support for their new track 'Error Of Our Ways', they were announced 'XFM Uploaded Artist Of The Week' in March.
In January 2008 the band completed recording their first full-length EP 'The Onus', produced by the marvellous Jamie Watson (The Vaselines, Idlewild, Snow Patrol) at Chamber Studios, Edinburgh. The four impressive tracks delivered in April were Exhibitionist/Instigator, In The Grips, Anticipate and The Onus.
The band are destined for the studio once again in early October to record new live favourites RECAPTURE, HOLES and OVERRIDE. This promises to be an exciting period for the band with their first London date at The Gramaphone, Spitalfields following a brace of Scottish dates in early November.
