About us
Originally from Paris, King of Conspiracy now live in London regularly playing gigs in the South East and all over the UK.
Having already played some great venues in the London as well as The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, people are starting to realise that this is a band going places.
Artrocker recently described them as "Anguished and jet-propelled art-punk from this spiky trio from Paris. Determinedly DIY, they have toured UK independently before and are now back for 20 straight dates including The Great Escape Festival. Mixture of quiet/loud, clean/distorted US hardcore/alt guitar aesthetics of classic SST, Dischord, Alternative Tentacles bands of the 80's and 90's. Whether skittering ponk-fink rhythms or old school garage rock riffs everything is delivered with fire and passion and the precision of Shellac / Mclusky post-hardcore sounds - primitive yet intelligent.”
Live review from the Buffalo Bar gig in May 2008 can be read at the music website Room Thirteen here www.roomthirteen.com/cgi-bin/tour_set.cgi?SetID=5196
Go see them at any of their up and coming dates and see why Artrocker, Room Thirteen and many others are getting excited over this trio.
