About us
Jumping Ships have been described as ‘one of the most interesting and innovative bands to come out of Brighton in years', winning over crowds across the south with their genre-defying, beat-driven alternative rock.
Having played with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Most Serene Republic, This City, Elle Milano, Maths Class, Godwits and Blah Blah Blah, plus slots at The Rock Against Racism Aftershow and Club NME Jumping Ships have built a huge buzz and look set to be big in 2009.
Jumping Ships are releasing their debut single ‘Liberty Row’ in October of this year; entirely self recorded and produced the single has already been getting attention from the likes of Huw Stephens and MOJO Magazine. Supported by a UK tour and mastered by Ace from Skunk Anansie, ‘Liberty Row’ promises to be one of the highlight singles of 2008.
‘Liberty Row’ and the B-side ‘Telescope Eyes’ is out now on ITunes, Amazon, Napster and more
