the songs...
joyce aim to write songs and melodies that attract all but the coldest of listeners to their infectious music. With their catchy lyrics and hooks, the songs draw you in and leave you wanting more.

joyce are determined to make it all the way, so determined, they have put their own money into the band and have hired out a studio to practice and record in.

There are many influences on the band which include The Postal Service, James and The Doves.

the band...
James, Cookie, Ant and John are all based in the North West of England.

By using an electronic bass, Joyce cast aside the conventions of a traditional four-piece band.

the gigs...
Joyce are currently gigging across the North West with highlights including slots at Manchester Academy, Night and Day, Dry Bar and The Cavern.

The band have also been a featured artist on the Myspace Music homepage, alongside the bands Oasis and Arcade Fire.

Over the coming months Joyce aim to focus their attentions on building up an even stronger fan base through their gigs and recordings.
