Short Biography....


I'm 17 years old, and have been writing and performing since the age of 15. Please don't let the young age put you off. Just over the past couple of months i've put together a band:

Ian, drums, keys : 22
Paul, lead guitar,backing vocals : 24
Mike, bass, backing vocals, bongos : 22
Jonny(me), voice,rhythm guitar: 17


Ambitions....


I've just left school with the idea of focusing all my time, effort and energy on music and really just to explore how far it can go. Me and the band are determined to sculpt a career for ourselves out of the music industry and are willing to do anything to achieve it. The dream scenario would be to record an album and tour with the songs. But for now as many gigs and as much exposure as possible is the main aim.


Background....


Throughout the last couple of years I've really just been doing as much as I can: playing acoustic shows wherever will take me, writing to national newspapers for reviews and exposure. Here's a review by the Daily Records Rick Fulton “Jonny Jack has a serious talent… like Paolo Nutini, Jonny has a voice, sound and quality of lyrics that sounds much older than his youth”. Highlights have included playing the glasgow barrowlands 2 and being selected to play an unsigned Clyde 1 showcase and the Oran Mor.
