BAND BIO:
Formed in early 2008, It’s A Trap are 3 guys from Suffolk.
With a new line up from a previous band, the guys have been gigging for the majority of 2008 including some high profile slots including supporting the 2007 Road to V winners Rosalita, with shows at Colchester Arts Centre, and various other venues around the county.
Through tireless gigging and promoting, It’s A Trap! have seen their popularity rise in an incredibly short space of time. Their recent performances have exceeded everyone’s expectations and are now one of the hottest lives bands on the Essex and East Anglian indie scene at the moment.
REVIEWS:
"Their band name sums it up pretty well, it is a trap, and from the first moment you tune in you will be trapped. This band has a great deal of potential, and I’m sure in the coming years it will be fulfilled. Their track ’Don’t Panic’ is very high energy, it will keep your attention and make you want to boogie. Just from listening to their recordings, I can tell that they must put on a good show. They are the kind of band that could not disappoint when seen live. The chemistry of this band makes for great music. They are tight, and obviously know their instruments well and do them justice."
- Drop Magazine.
"This is what music is about; a couple of boys who live breathe and eat their sound. The music produced by this band had a razor sharp edge that brings the indie rock genre to a new standard within the East of England."
- SGR Colchester.
