About us


Hugo Frusslinky were formed by old friends at the beginning of 2007, described as a genre mixing Indie, Funk, Punk, and Pop.

This female fronted four-some offer a "quirky alternative edge" driving funky rhythms with catchy melodies and occasionally the odd bit of flute!! Although they have been together a short time Hugo have been gaining notoriety by recently appearing at the Isle of Wight festival and earning a slot on the Mainstage at the 2007 Bestival by winning a band competition judged by Bestival main man and Radio One DJ Rob da Bank.

Following this, Hugo Frusslinky have been played on Huw Stephens' Radio One show and have also had an appearance in the unsigned bands special column in music magazine NME. Currently Hugo are racking up more gigs and finishing a debut album due very soon.
