About us
He Who Dares were formed in Autumn 2006 by brothers Paul Bond (drums) and Dave Bond (bass). They were soon joined by Dom Phillips (vocals/guitar) and Russell Jemmett(guitar/vocals).
He Who Dares are a premier 'indie/alt rock' band based in Sittingbourne, Kent. The band started writing their own material in 2007, taking their combined influences of alt rock from the likes of Radiohead and Muse and combining them with funk and psychedelic sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biffy Clyro and Jimi Hendrix, as well as a little RATM.
In March 2008 the band released their first demo CD, containing 8 tracks recorded at SoundArt Studios in Sittingbourne, Kent. The 8 songs showcase the band's wide range of sounds and songwriting skills, including fan favourite songs such as Missing Pieces and Point Of No Return.
With a growing live reputation as a hot live act in the Maidstone/Medway area, He Who Dares hope to keep moving onto bigger venues, bigger crowds and future success, while continuing to write more material and experiment with their unique sound.
