About us


Hello! We are Hello Big World! We are a folk-pop duo from two little towns in the north west and we create fun bits of music made of love! We love the world and people and animals and we love eachother, and that's what allows us to have so much fun within this band!

We came together in late 2007 after deciding to write a song for a mutual friend for a christmas present. We wrote it in the music block at our school in a study period and it was such a success that we couldn't wait until christmas and had to go and get our friend right then and show her straight away. From then we discovered that actually we really liked eachothers company and musical contributions and that together we could cook up something quite tasty!

We were lucky enough to be able to play a live session on BBC Radio Stoke this May, and that was a super-duper experience for us and can be heard on www.bbc.co.uk/subculture.
