About us


Harry & The Hendersons formed in 2007 playing punk rock covers by bands like Green Day and Blink-182. Since then they have progressed to writing their own brand of British punk rock, with insane drums from Harry, soaring riffs from Jon and punchy bass and mighty vocals from Jono. They mainly play in the region of South London, but have been known to travel having recently made a dent in the music scene of Camden.

Harry & The Hendersons are currently demoing their first album and are going into the studio in August to record it, all their material already having been written. They're currently looking for gigs in the South London area, and for a promoter to help them on their way to fame. They are also in the process of organising a gig at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston-Upon-Thames, which has been a premier music venue for new bands in the area supporting mainly the punk and metal genres, making this a fantastic opportunity appeal to a greater audience. They have been building steam on myspace, offering free downloads of their demo and allowing fans to contact the band in person.

The band met at Hampton School (which was also attended by Brian May of Queen), where they have recently completed their A-levels. After developing strong friendships they began to jam together in 2007 flirting with the idea of forming a band, eventually graduating to covers, and then moving on to their own songs in early 2008 playing in Harry's living room every week (they would like to thanks Harry's rather tolerant parents for this).

Harry & The Hendersons pursue their music with a great passion which is clear to see in their enthusiastic and energetic live shows. They are currently searching for a promoter, and are hoping to have recorded an album by the end of the year.
