The Band


About us


Hannah grew up in the lovely (but very far away) land of New Zealand. This is where she developed her unique sound and skills as a musician and released her first album 'Out of the Ten' (2003).

Moving to Scotland on a whim, she found the rich and diverse Edinburgh music scene and embraced it. In 2004 she released the EP 'The Eve Sessions I' and formed her band - 'The Part-timers'. She also won the Edinburgh Acoustic Idol competition and got to play the fabulous Ross Bandstand during the Edinburgh Festival 2004. In 2005 she conquered the Meadows Festival and the occasional supermarket carpark, and toured New Zealand to wide acclaim, receiving much airplay.

Her music remains popular across the ditch, remaining in the mp3.com.au top 100 acoustic artists for the past 5 years running.

In 2006 her second EP 'Stand & See' was released, and she is now working on the full length album 'The Elemental Angel'.
