About us
Three gutter punks (and an elusive old author) from west London bring hip-hop back down to earth, and to its socio-political roots spitting it back out using guitars and a scratch dj. In the end times in which we live emcees Madam Blahvatski and danDNA are the new Shuttle and Redgrave if you appreciate poetry, or Paxman and Wark if your point of reference is late night TV.
Both writers are disciples of the british Psychologist and author Stan Gooch, who features on many of their recordings, so the subject matters of their tracks are taken from such diverse topics as evolution, psychology and the occult, which are all pasted together using a bibliography that any non-fiction writer would be proud of. Live, all of this is performed whilst playing guitars over the thumping old skool beats and cuts of turntablist Mr. Frendo.
