About us

“Friday Night Hero are one of the few indie bands amongst the millions out there that maintain the indie feel but continue to sound fresh and interesting, book them now so that like me you can one day say I knew them then.”
(Simon Watkins RadioReverb 97.2FM Station Manager)

“Influences of Editors and Snow Patrol in a set combining strong, crisp riffs set over flowing keys, and vocal tones that left the crowd hanging off their every word.”
(Surface Unsigned)

“A very fresh sound indeed: the perfect combination of infectious tunes, touching melodies, solid beats and a great look. These guys have the potential to become a band of heroic proportions...”
(Ben Andrews, ARA City Radio Luxembourg)

“Strong songs, good melodies and a hook like that Captain Hook bloke - Friday Night Hero have got it all.”
(Guy & Andrea Breakfast Show Juice FM)

Bio:
Friday Night Hero formed in 2006. They are an international act in the truest sense, with the five hailing from as far and wide as Italy, America, Argentina, Luxemburg as well as the UK. Their diverse backgrounds and influences bring a unique quality to the bands sound of infectious hooks and melodies, and gripping drum beats.

The band descended on the bustling seaside town of Brighton, an obvious choice with it sitting at the forefront of the British music scene, and have secured a solid fan-base in the discerning city and the capital since their arrival. They also find themselves living together under the same roof, and by day working the same job. Intense maybe, but bodes well for the tour bus that lies ahead…

2008 promises to be an exciting year starting out with the nomination at the Indy Music Awards, a slot at the 'Brighton's Finest' show at the Brighton Fringe Festival, and dates in Europe and Asia in the pipeline the future is bright. Also a new EP will be recorded in London in March so prepare your ears for a treat…
