About us


Hi

We're Final Stand, a young (15/16 yr old) four-piece indie/rock band from High Wycombe

We've been playing for about a year now, recording various tracks using home recording equipment (no label........yet)

We have a wide range of influences amongst ourselves, which results in an amalgamation of such styles as Libertine/Stone Roses/Oasis-esque guitar, Chillis/Blink-182 bass, and a kind of original, Thom York-ey vocals, which are simply too brilliant to be confined within the metaphysical walls of this blog. (guess which of us wrote this....). Oh and there's a drummer who pertains to be John Bonham. Quite effectively actually.

However of late such artists as Radiohead, Kasabian, Oasis, Muse, Libertines and Stone Roses are the ones most influential in our unquestionably brilliant work. There's even a touch of Pendulum-like dnb in there if u listen to some of our tracks; we are certainly looking to implement some of the synthetic instrumentation, ubiquitous in today's musical hierarchy.
