About us


emenrio were started by singer/songwriters Ems Y and Richie Dyer at Lancaster Uni. Jake Gill on Drums, Alex Hedges on Guitar and Graeme Cohen on Bass with Richie's piano creates an upbeat and funky wave of pop with three vocals.

Since forming over a year ago, emenrio have been gigging all over the North-West, notable shows including the Roadhouse and Night & Day Cafe in Manchester, and Saturday headliners at the reputable 'Attic in Accrington' to a sold out show. The band has been booked by Lancaster Uni to play two large summer music events this year to celebrate the end of the academic year - Alexandra Park Fest and Bowland Extravaganza.

The band has recorded it's first EP and continues to write new material. The live shows are full of energy and have spurred the creation of friendly pop-mosh, an emenrio-fans speciality!
