About us
Who are EDC?
EDC are James Grant, Mike Hatcher, Paul Howley and Rob Lovick
Where have they been hiding?
Under a magical musical rock, and in the library.
Can you tell me more about them?
Sure can: Rob and Paul have been rocking together in bands since school days, they were joined by James in 2006 and Mike in 2007. Now complete, the band worked at puling at the strings of the types of music they enjoyed to see how it would unwind. Their divergent interests combined to form a tight set of lean pop-rock songs that get your foot tapping and your head swimming. They are a prodigious writing unit, with at least a couple of new numbers for the faithful every gig and have laid ownership of some of London's finest unsigned stages. On stage they are a snarling muscular monster of melody and noise. Outside of music they share a passion for pedantry.
And where can I hear that rocktastic sound?
EDC gig regularly around London and will be venturing out further with the recording of there upcoming EP. Check the gig listings on this page for more details.
What about the lyrics?
You can catch up on the words to your favourite songs on the lyrics tab of the myspace music player (www.mypsace.com/edcuk). Then there will be excuse for not singing along!
Wowee! songs that aren't just about holding hands.
Impressive isn't it? EDC have an agenda, part of which is to be free from vague or essentially meaningless or sentimental songs. Every word counts!
