About us
Daniel Orlick's music is moulded from western/surf guitar riffs, deep reggae bass grooves (thanks to the influence of Lee Perry), and infectious leftfield lyrics (massively influenced by Marley, Cash and The Clash).
This style of music gurantees one thing, and that is to make the listener look great whatever the occasion - be it at the beach, the office, or the mother-in-laws*
Devil's Seed is Daniel's debut single, released on 11th June on DIY label Ghost Town Records. It is available now for digital download.
Suburbia - a rap-style observation of the irony that many people living in suburbia listen to rap music and embrace the notion of the gangland way of life, without ever really having to confront issues which exist in the real ghettos.
Bring Back Madeleine was written for the fund raising campaign No Stone Unturned, and all profits from broadcast, sales and performance go to the charity. Available by digitial download.
9 to 5 Slave (recently removed from XFM but available on Daniel's website) was adopted as a favourite track by Glastonbury's Leftfield stage crew in 2005 when Daniel performed. This song was so popular it became the opening track for their Glastonbury festival's FM radio, along with 3 other tracks by Daniel. Also included on the broadcast were Babyshambles, The Levellers, Shaun Ryder and other well known acts.
*Daniel accepts no liability for mother-in-laws*
