In early 2005 all three band members had ended their previous projects and were ready to launch their knowledge, experience and passion into the music they wanted to listen to, but couldn’t find elsewhere.

The band kicked off with their first gig soon after and they were quick to build momentum hitting venues across the UK including, Carling Academy in Newcastle, Fibbers Barfly in York and the Garage in London, Bloodstock Festival 2006 and many more!

They have built a loyal fan base and recruited street team members throughout the UK.

Whilst targeting the physical side of the industry with CD and merchandise sales, Captive Audio have their own site at www.captiveaudio.co.uk featuring release previews, artwork, gig listings and photo galleries. Their music is also available on iTunes and will be making all future releases available online. They also have a dedicated C.A.S.T. (Captive Audio Street Team) only website soon to be launched, featuring exclusive material and content.

Their first two releases ‘Psycho State’ and 'My Grip' are available through Construction Records, and have a new 'self titled' release OUT NOW available right from their myspace page at www.myspace.com/captiveaudiomusic.

The band are currently working on their first full length studio album.

This hardworking three piece have recently completed a two week UK tour and continue to gig extensively demonstrating their dark, creative and unique sound with technical riff hooks and huge choruses.
