XFM ROCKSCHOOL WINNERS 2007


Black & White are a Four piece band, who started in the Summer of 2006 based in Epsom, Surrey. The Band formed in 2006, on a music course all seeking the same ambition of starting a band, from then on they started to make music together, and took things from there. Black & White are Influenced by many band's from Red hot chili peppers to Guns n Roses and other Modern bands, which gives Black & White an original, different recognizable sound, steering away from being catagorized as a certain type of music, Black & White are still experimenting.

At the end of 2006, Black & White won a battle of the bands at Epsom playhouse with there first song called "Shut up". They have also won prizes from entering Sutton's best band Competition in 2006. Recently, Black & White played an unexpected show at Reading Festival 07 which was great. Also in September Black & White won a Battle of the bands in Carshalton, and were awarded a prize of £250. Black & White recently won Xfm Rockschool 2007, the prize was playing at Brixton Academy on the 9th of December 2007, supporting the likes of 'Bloc Party, Kate Nash, Supergrass, One Night Only, Jack Penate and Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip' Black & White have had alot of apearences on xfm radio recently!
