About us

Badly Dubbed are 4 piece pop/punk band, full of guys that just love to play live. Originating from the Edinburgh/Livingston region, they formed late in 2005 and immediately started writing their own material.

Then with a set of songs in that ultra catchy pop/punk styling, they set about playing wherever and whenever they could (all venues listed on their myspace) The guys have supported such bands as Flood of Red, The Fire and I, and the recently signed MYBE. Recently they have been going from strength to strength, from venue to venue all across Scotland with only one objective in mind, get the crowd up and JIVING!

These guys just love to have fun and interact as much as possible with crowds, fans, and friends on and off the stage. If you ever see 4 dudes dancing like a bunch of idiots at a gig, odds are it's probably the BD boys jiving their wee hearts out.

A lot more information on the band, the members, and even the odd cheeky review can be found on both their myspace and bebo pages.

The Bluesbunny-Independent Music Reviews

"Making the trip from Livingston tonight are Badly Dubbed, this four piece band put a bit of style into the proceedings. They are a neat rock band at the lighter end of that musical spectrum but that ain't a bad thing. Seeing them on a Monday night seems strangely inappropriate as they seem more of a Friday night cut-yourself-loose band and they certainly play well together. They kind of reminded Bluesbunny of seventies' bands like Eddie and The Hot Rods especially with "Hush". Good, honest fun in other words and, by the manner in which bass player Sean Leyden was bouncing about, the band were enjoying themselves too."
