About us


A True Story is a 5 piece Rock/ Power-pop band from Lanarkshire. They
Combine infectious keyboard sounds with heavy, punk-rock guitars and
Addictive double vocal melodies.

Having formed in May 2005, the band has played some of Scotland’s leading venues including selling out Glasgow’s Nice N Sleazy on their first headline show in December. With their energetic and theatrical stage performances, and catchy up tempo rock, their fan base gets bigger by the day.

Having worked with Duncan Cameron (Travis, Dykeenies, Teenage Fanclub) in January
2007, the band released their eagerly anticipated
Debut single, 'As Stupid As You’re Pretty,’on 19th March.

Confident, attractive, well rehearsed and addictive, A True Story will capture
the hearts and minds of everyone they come across.
