Aussie now UK based alt-rockers AS WE ARE made their debut appearance at Australias renowned indie venue, "THE ZOO" late 2006 and in the short time since have recorded and released their debut EP "To Drown A Box" digitally worldwide, had their single "THE LINE" placed with surf giant QUIKSILVER on a US/AUS tv commercial for an worldwide dvd release, recorded with the legendary Mike Stavrou (Paul McCartney, Sting), played countless live shows, filmed a soon to be released video clip with Hollywood cinematographer Simon Christides (Fools Gold, Sneaky Sound System), and most recently made the move to the mother country completely self-funded and promoted.

With previous international touring credentials and successes in Australia that include nationally broadcast Live TV appearances on ROVE, winning JJJ's UNEARTHED all in previous outfits, these 5 lads are rapidly claiming the Aussie music scene. They prove that innovative songwriting coupled with lush vocals will always reign supreme.....

With the debut long player set to drop late 2008/early 2009 and plenty of shows booked til the end of the year, AS WE ARE is certainly a band to watch !
