About us
There are two members of A Pyxie Worm:
One Male.
One Female.
Hatched out from a blue egg, two years before
the 'summer of love'.
A Pyxie Worm is a fusion of anything and everything that they find stimulating. Two creative minds that work together in all aspects of life, art and music. They are not to fond of 'the hot', which is probably why they are fond of
music and people which come from 'the cold'.
They like wide open spaces, but find tight towns and cities interesting. Because of their eclectic tastes, their music can sometimes sound like that too. What you hear today may not be what you hear tomorrow.
Sometimes it may be quiet, mood inspiring and easy on your ears.
Other times it may be the complete opposite making your ears bleed, or it may be somewhere in between.
The music that they make is the music that they enjoy making.
It isn't necessarily the type of music that they listen to.
A Pyxie Worm have been likened musically to:
Air, Aphex Twin, Bjork, Boards of Canada, Bonobo,
Four Tet, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Japan, Massive Attack, Mike Oldfield, Moby, Múm, Sigur Ros,
The Album Leaf and Zero 7.
They have also been likened to The Arctic Monkeys
for the daftness of their name.
