About us
Jonny Petch and Tom Mackay, January 2008, Seattle, United States Of America.
The two young, handsome dudes decided to do what everyone had been waiting for and combine their formidable musical talents. So here it is. American Moustache. A two-piece Pop/Nu-Shave/Easy Megacore band featuring the sublime talent of Jonny on acousti-core guitar and lead vox with the smooth skills of Thomas on drums and backing vox.
With Jonny's highly melodic songwriting combined with Tom's experimental heavy rock drumming, American Moustache are creating quite a stir with their extraordinarily catchy, exciting, dynamic pop tracks and their remarkably energetic live show, played strictly on a freaking loud acoustic guitar and one drum kit - nothing else.
American Moustache have recorded their EP, 'The Demos Are Universal' at Universal Records, and are currently performing around London with a big flag behind them and fairy lights and tinsel all over the place. There will also be a horse on stage at some point in the future once the budget permits.
This is Nu-Shave.
