About us


Alex F. Coates began life as a singer-songwriter, musician and recording artist in 2005. Since that time he has produced one studio demo 'Collection of Papers', completed in November 2007, on the back of gigs supporting Troubles (ex-Hope of the States), and playing Glastonbury Festival 2007 (Flaming Love Palace stage). Currently recording a further two EP's of 'older' material, 'Pictures of the Past/ Pictures of the Future' joint EP is due to be completed December 2007; out January 01st 2008. Further new material is in the pipeline along with more support slots.

The biggest influences musically are: Bright Eyes, Idlewild, Hope of the States, Patrick Wolf, Willy Mason, Jack Penate, & Editors.
