About us

"Subvert pop culture you can bring down Capitalism" -Theodor Adorno

Rock ‘n’ Roll is the perfect microcosm of our collective hypocrisy. We realize it and are simultaneously enthralled and repulsed. What we understand about rock n roll we also understand as a reflection of society at large. That photography is execution and that tourism is rape. That virtue is the greatest sham, a lie we whisper to lull us to sleep, that civilization is a mechanism, and that brutality just exists. Kindness is closest to God who is dead, and exists only in society, barbarism is closest to beauty that we create and exists everywhere.

We are monumentally enraged, and wish to annihilate all monuments. Including our own toleration. Ownership is corruption, so everything in sight must be stolen or sold as waste. All the vile institutions that keep you terrified, all the pretences that rob you of your reflection, all restrictions that bore you into the soil. History is what keeps us shackled so must be denied, but is all we have to set us free. We are colossal creatures God once stood in awe of, but now crouch having broken our own legs. Banality and mediocrity are fed to us through a permanent wound in our stomach.

We believe in the future of the car crash, and the past tense of diplomacy. We want riots in this time of consensus, if none occur, we must riot. We want perversion in this time of purity, if all remains stagnant, we must pervert. If God is dead we are God. If all art around is vile, be your own work of art. The state doesn’t care about you, they resent your power, so make you believe you are disenfranchised. Vote them into extinction. They exist only as an expression of the failures of our own imagination and the susceptibilities to our fascism. We don’t want you to believe in us. We want you to believe in the façade, to recognize it as yours to cripple or cultivate.

We play like every concert will be our last and will not stop until art can ruin empires once again.
