About us
They started their journey in the Autumn of 2004, when Pav and Billy Prince Brown got together to Jam Drink, the lack of an instrument filling the low frequencies was temporarily filled by guitars. The quest for musicians led them to Chloe Treacher and finally Bryn Morrow to complete the band.
The progression of the distinctive sound of the band became obvious once Bryn filled the drum stool, that and the mixture of Classic Rock sounds with some Alternative Rock helped to create their unique blend of Rock n’ Roll. The overall sound is powerful, emotive, clear and tight. They have been described by XFM’s DJ Eddie Temple Morris as a “fresh new band full of dark but very sexy sounds; filthy bass, fat beats, rocking guitars and strong vocals, they really stand out …”
The different approach in sound has been only good for the band and with more gigs under their belt, a podcast feature on the Coca Cola Music website and with the release of one of their tracks on itunes through Red Zoo Media, Coca Cola’s own music label, things could not be better.
Hunger and desire drive this group of musicians that have already played around London including the Carling Bar Academy in Islington, the Underworld and the Barfly in Camden Town, the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town, Hoxton Square Kitchen Bar & Grill in Old Street, Industry in Shoreditch, The Comedy Pub in Piccadilly Circus, Storm in Leicester Square, The Fly and Metro Club in Tottenham Court Road and Clockwork in Angel to name a few well known venues.
They have been building a strong following and every time they play, the website gets more hits and their myspace friends list keeps growing. More music and more gigs coming up soon.
