AcousticBox -
A four piece, Pop/Indie/Rock band from St Helens located less than an hour away from Liverpool, Manchester and Wigan.

A long time ago, there was young boy called Damon, he was forever making noises with his mouth to immitate a drum kit. Everyone found it particularly strange, until one day Damon's mum walked in asking about the IMMENSE R'n'B tune that was getting played on MTV. Damon then turned around to his dear mother and replied, "I am doing it with my mouth mam". His mother was so unbelieveably shocked that she fainted while Damon sat there bopping away to his own beat. Damon then decided to form a band, an acoustic band but with a difference,

So he made his band and called it AcousticBox, 2 Acoustic Guitars and a beatboxer. They wrote songs and uploaded them onto myspace and had numerous practises, where they established that they "ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD", one drunken night. Unfortunately one of the former members who couldnt deal with the fame had to leave due to medical reasons. It was from then on that they decided they need a new replacement, and thats when Dave stepped in...

So the lineup now was Damon, Chris and Dave. After the invitation to the battle of the bands named "Streetwaves", they decided to step the band up a level, due to the current lack of interest in acoustic bands anymore. So they wired up and went electric and ROCKED the citadel on the first round and Pwnd the crowd in every way !

After exploring many books of Audio Theory, it was decided that although the beatbox was a novelty feature of the band, it purely didn't give enough 'ummph' so they got into contact with American Session Drummer Pro Extraordinaire (AKA Pat). A selection of people have referred to Pat as "The Best".

AcousticBox then set out to let the world know that they ARE "The Best Band In The World". They made recordings of songs, and broadcasted it to thousands.
