The Band
About us
We are 4Hours; we are a new unsigned band from West London. We are a three piece Rock/Punk/Indie band; our sound is a little different from the mainstream Indie sound. The line up is Steve (Gong) on Drums, Tommy (Bass), you guessed it on Bass and Front man Adam on vocals and Guitar.
We are slowly developing a fan base, we have about 5,000. Fans (from around the world) on our MySpace with about 1.Million plays across our 5 demo tracks.
This year we have performed at the following London venues, Lark in the Park (twice), The Bull and Gate, Tommy Flynns, Filthies (Twickenham), Underworld and several times at our home venue The Treaty Uxbridge (the only live music venue in Uxbridge). We headlined at Tommy Flynns and the Treaty but have also been main support at the other venues for The Daves, Absent Elk and Dr Voy from Belgium.
Our musical influences are taken from Queen, Police, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, Rancid and The Offspring to name but a few.
We took a short break from April until July to write and rehearse some new material. We are now back booking gigs; our first appearance at The Grand Clapham Junction will be on the 18th September 08.
We are extremely good live; our front man Adam has had great praise from Hughie Dixon of Hayes FM's Ciao Buddha show. As well as being featured on Hayes FM our demo trax have also featured on Linda Serck's show BBC Berkshire. We are currently booked to do a live unplugged set for Junction 11 (Reading radio) in October, as well as a live broadcast of our gig during Fresher’s week at Reading University, which we are headlining.
Not bad for a band that only met and formed in September 07 (blimey it’s nearly a year). But we know this is only the tip of the ice berg and there is tons of work to be done yet.
All our demo material is home recorded. We are currently raising funds to record an album, but studio time and a decent Producer is expensive. We hope we can do this before the end of the year.
We would love to welcome you at one of our Gigs.
Cheers
