About us
28 Jacks are a 5 piece Indie/Rock band from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. They have been together for a year now and have been given the opportunity by Beyond it Promotions to play alongside bands like The Jyrojets, The courteeners, The 1990's, HI-Jack Oscar, The Tiny Dancers, Slow Club, Exist, Stereoglo, C/O/R/D, Theatre Fall, John Powers (ex cast & The las), Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets) The Law Glasvegas and The Embrace DJ’s to name but a few.
They are fairly gathering momentum and are looking for the chance to broaden their horizons a little after producing their first e.p at the end of October 07. They plan to try out for all the Scottish festivals this year as well as a Scottish tour. So keep an eye out for these boy’s. We were nominated for ICA Awards best local band and we came 2nd too Inverness's only signed band The Jyrojets.
ICA Review (Steven Leighton)
28 Jacks
Probably heading the pack of the young, new and exciting bands coming through in The Highlands, Their take on a classic indie sound has won admirers everywhere and its no fluke, just pure talent, that has saw them support the likes of Tiny Dancers, The Rites and Jyrojets
