About us
100 Resolutions is a band we formed in March 2006, our main intention to maybe create some songs, and and our biggest goal being maybe to play a gig here and there with them. we started off playing covers from Jack Johnson. 'Sitting Waiting Wishing' and 'Do You Remember' being our main myspace songs but in late summer 2006 we came up with our first song 'Short Sighted' not our best we must abit but it spurred us to write our first e.p titled ' Fairytales ' which had some good tracks like ' Fall ' ' Dedication ' and ' Art Of Feeling Lost ' which is a song that we still play today.
At the end of last year we played our first gig at Sweatbox, 23rd of November i recall and it was an acoustic night. we opened and played a 5 song set. how we were so proud of ourselves even though thinking about it, it wasn't our greatest of sets :) but it was a stepping stone to bigger things.
2007 came along, we had improved our set, made a few more songs and started playing a few more covers and this went on into the summer after playing some big gigs at Sweatbox and Rock In The Park, we were on the verge of finishing writing our 2nd album. unnamed at the time but some tracks were missing and with the delay of recording we managed to write a few more songs, including a song we played to our audition of Britain's Got Talent ' Ghost In The Windows ' which is beginning to become a crowd favorite. as we still wait for the reply from Britain's Got Talent. fingers crossed eh?
On the arrival of the release of our new album which is now recorded and in the stage of being produced we are really anxious about what you will think. we are really proud with what we have made so we think you guys will love it. we have play more gigs in the last few months and it has been a hectic year, we have grown in support and created music we never thought we could. but we still can get better and i can assure you that for one!
2008 looks to be bright and sunny doesnt it. our new album is to be released we have a few gigs early in the year, and we are beginning to plan our 3 week super summer tour of South England which will be a bomb! so we better be seeing you there. as from now i hope you like the music and get in touch soon.
