About us
Our aim is to create a big sound to compete with a full band on a massive stage to a small acoustic cafe playing through one speaker. No restrictions, No fuss, No hassles just music.
The story so far........ We started back in February. Since then we played 47 gigs in 2007. The venues we have played so far are exactly what we hoped for. We have played with heavy, punk, rock, acoustic, folk, indie, Alternative and pop bands in this short space of time, all of which have been very different.
We recorded a three track demo at first then released our first EP “The Starting Point”. We have since released our second EP “Play the Game” which is available through Myspace or at gigs although copys are limited, And just released our NEW Single "Time Is Running Out"
Our sound.......This is something we work hard on. Being “Different” is hard to achieve when some people only ever hear a full band. We only consist of one Acoustic guitar, one electric guitar and vocals. Our aim is to break away from “the norm” eg adding bass and drums. Our rhythm section in the band is the acoustic guitar playing rocky rhythm using lower bass notes to emphasise the chords in our songs. Electric guitar then uses effects for the hooks in our songs with distortion chords over some parts to create a rocky edge to our music. Vocals are used for memorable melodies and lyrics that are easy to sing along to.
The future........ We are hard working and love what we do. We will continue to practice in our wee studio in Alloa, experiment with recording, gig lots and keep writing new material........ We love feedback and feel free to drop us an email or comment!!
Sept 2008 - We have now played over 90 gigs since starting in Feb 2007 and feel we have achieved quite a lot. We are still 100% happy and enjoy what we`re doing. The next couple of months will see a fresh set and another release from us.
